Liberia Economic & Social Development, Inc. is a Community Development Corporation (CDC) and a Community Based Organization that provides certain services to low-income children and families to address family needs, such as career counseling, employment training, job retention, affordable housing, food, and childcare.
Since its inception in 1981, LES has demonstrated a capacity to improve economic conditions in its target area. The agency is credited with several achievements, especially with the ensuring of public/private sector commitment to area residents. The success is attributed to the collaboration, cooperation, support and resolution of numerous partnerships over the years.

1981 – Henry Graham founded and organized Liberia Economic & Social Development, Inc. in Hollywood, Florida.
2001 – Angel donation from J. Moran foundation funds outreach entire year.
2005 – Liberia Economic & Social Development, Inc. grows to feed more than 5,000 children in a single year and raises more than $1.0 million from non-corporate donors.
2011 – Henry Graham recognized as one of the top humanitarians in the nation. Liberia Economic & Social Development, Inc. grows to more than 7,500 volunteers in 17 countries worldwide.
